Measuring Instructions

1. Put on the thickest pair of breeches/jodhpurs or trousers and socks you will usually wear inside the boots.

2. Make sure all measurements are taken whilst in a sitting position when foot is flat and at rest.

3. Using a metric tape (ie measuring in centimetres) get a friend to take measurements of your legs and feet OVER BREECHES/JODHPURS or TROUSERS and SOCKS at the lines shown in the illustration.

4. Hold the tape snug / comfortably tight without any slack around the part of the leg or foot to be measured.

5. Take the Top Band measurement (A) just under the knee joint.

6. Take Calf measurement (B) over fullest part of calf.

7. Height measurement (E) should be taken from crease behind knee to ground in stockinged feet. If available, double check this measurement against your favourite pair of boots measuring the height of the back EXCLUDING the sole / heel block.
8. Normal shoe size worn. If you wear a wide or narrow fitting or a half size, please indicate this. For example 7½-8 wide or 9+.

9. Double check each measurement again to make sure.

10. If in doubt please contact us for advice and we shall be pleased to assist.
