Conditions of Sale

1.  Footwear

1.1   We recommend you visit us in person for a trial fitting.  However if this is not possible we will be pleased to send you our nearest STOCK SIZE to your measurements to try on to help you confirm the size and fitting you wish to order.  Footwear sent on trial must be paid for in full but may be returned for full refund of cost (excluding carriage) if returned to us new and unused with its original packaging within 14 days of delivery.

1.2   Footwear will be made to one of the standard sizes of the relevant manufacturer unless we tell you otherwise.  All sizes and specifications are approximate and given for guidance only. Your leg and foot measurements are required to help identify any peculiarities which might suggest that your requirements cannot be accommodated by a standard size.  Most of our footwear is made in Continental foot sizes so if your normal shoe size is English/UK or USA and you do not know your Continental equivalent, we shall send you the nearest Continental size for the model chosen based on the sizing information you give us.

1.3   If we do not think we can accommodate your requirements with a standard size we will inform you and either arrange a Special Order for you if possible or otherwise cancel your order with full refund whichever you prefer.

1.4   Footwear ordered in a standard size WHICH WE STOCK REGULARLY may be returned for full refund of cost (excluding carriage) if returned to us new and unused with its original packaging within 14 days of delivery.  Footwear which has been specially altered or adapted to your individual requirements so that it can no longer be considered a standard size and specification for resale (e.g. Top Boots, Dressage Boots, non-standard height boots etc.) may not be returned. Similarly footwear which constitutes a Special Order may not be returned. 

2.  Other Goods (Excluding footwear)

2.1   Standard size goods ordered may be returned for full refund of cost (excluding carriage) if returned to us new and unused with their original packaging within 14 days of delivery.  Special Order goods may not be returned.

3.  Special Orders

Goods and/or footwear which we do not stock regularly will constitute a Special Order and as such may not be returned.  We shall notify you prior to accepting your order if goods and/or footwear constitute a Special Order to allow you the opportunity to reconsider and cancel if you wish.  Once we have confirmed our acceptance of a Special Order it may not be cancelled and you will be liable for payment of the purchase price in full.

4.  Goods Returned Under Warranty must be returned CLEAN otherwise your claim cannot be considered.

5.Making Returns

5.1  Normally you must arrange and pay for the return of products to us.  However, sometimes we can arrange to collect the products from you, but the cost of this will be charged to you and will be deducted from any refund to you.

5.2  If you wish to request a collection by our courier, please telephone us on 01249 783530.  The fee for this service is usually £9.95 including VAT.  This service is  only available from mainland UK addresses excluding Highlands and Islands.

5.3  If you send the parcel from a Post Office we suggest the best value services are either Royal Mail 1st or 2nd Class Post with extra compensation if required OR  Parcelforce Express 48 depending on the size and weight of the package.. The return address is :-

5.4  When returning items to us you are strongly recommended to obtain proof of posting and insurance.  We cannot accept  responsibility for parcels lost in transit.

5.5  Once we receive your returns we can refund your account (less carriage) or we can replace the item with an alternative size or model. We will charge our normal rates for carriage for any replacement item(s).

5.6  If an item is returned due to a fault under warranty, we may consider refunding the carriage paid up to a maximum amount not exceeding £9.95 depending on the circumstances.  We will not be responsible for any additional cost if you choose to return an item by a more expensive service than is necessary.
